Brittlebush is a hardy desert shrub that lights up hillsides with bright yellow, daisy-like blooms in spring. Its leaves are silvery or gray-green, fuzzy, and help reflect harsh sun, making it heat-tolerant. Stems are brittle (hence the name), and under very dry conditions it can drop its leaves to conserve moisture.
