Connecticut Field Pumpkin is an heirloom species known to be at least 320 years old! Originally cultivated by indigenous tribes from Connecticut, these beautiful golden gords reach an average of 20 pounds of planted in fertile soils. Make sure the plant has full sun coverage on its leaves 6-8 hours a day for the biggest pumpkins. All parts of the gourd, including the leaves, are edible and highly nutritious.
