A native mint species with striking pink-purple vase shaped flowers that are a favorite amidst many native bumble bee species. This variety has a less potent mint flavor than your usual mint found in the garden. Unlike garden mint, however, this variety does not spread aggressively; and makes for a great addition in meadows, open fields, and even moist forest & rock edges.
