A native, semi-evergreen perennial brandishing bright yellow flowers beloved by most native pollinators. Golden Ragwort grows as low-growing dark evergreen leaves; with stems shooting up to 2 feet tall when it blooms around April-May. It reproduces both through seeds and underground rhizomes; and acts as a readily spreading ground cover. It can be especially useful as a pioneer species for disturbed or barren spaces. If growing in a garden or polyculture (area with multiple types of plants growing together) be prepared to maintain the population.
