One of my favorite plants of all time- Moringa (also genuinely known as as the miracle tree- what!!) is famously known for it s high density of nutrition and vital minerals found within its leaves, flowers, pods, and seeds. Moringa has various medicinal qualities differing with every part of the plant and every part is edible. It can handle and thrive in Arizona desert heat, and it can act as an annual crop in temperate climates… growing up to 6-12 feet tall in just 4 months!
Moringa
•This is a heat loving plant that will thrive in up to 110°F weather with very little water and takes around 6-9 months to go to seed… this in mind, it’s very important to time the planting of your Moringa tree correctly if you live in a temperate climate (places that freeze or get snow). If you are planting Moringa in one of these places, start the seeds indoors around March and keep them in a warm place that gets 6-9 hours of sunlight- the more the better. This will sometimes produce seeds.
