Hibiscus moscheutos is a striking, shrubby perennial native to eastern North American wetlands. It forms upright, clump-forming mounds of foliage and produces enormous, five‑petaled blooms—up to 6–8 inches across—with a bold central “eye.” Blooms appear from midsummer into early fall, making it a vibrant and dramatic addition to moist garden areas. In ideal conditions, the flowers can reach up to 10” wide!
